  Lyon has been selected to host the 12th international Prix Galien and the 43th French Prix Galien award ceremonies on 4 October 2012 (www.aderly.com - www.onlylyon.org).
  This choice stems from Lyon's international recognition in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological fields, which builds on its industrial cluster of research firms on vaccines and life sciences, as well as major leading pharmaceutical companies, innovative SMEs and start-ups, numerous R&D projects and a structured network of players in related fields.
